History: Life has never been easy for Vanya Cross. Her parents used to work at Shatter Labs and were killed in the accident. She grew up with a sick aunt who always told her that it was Shatter Lab's fault that her parents died. That the accident could've been prevented, but they didn't try hard enough. Vanya discovered her power when she healed her aunt, but tragically, the aunt died days later when another person with new superpowers killed her on her way home from work. Vanya sees these powers as both a blessing and a curse- she can help people, but in the end, Shatter Labs will always mess things up. Vanya believes Shatter Labs has to stopped before they kill anyone else, indirectly or not.

He grew very close to the Leader of the group and may even go as far to say that they were like the parent he never had.

cedric hawkins looks like every other infected person. he has the usual markings that show he’s apart of the magic group. the markings themselves are stretched across his back like massive flowers. the purple markings turn into vine-like patterns down his arms and body, wrapping around his toned skin and stopping at his neck, where they then explode into a rainbow of colors, splattered like paint. cedric is often-times seen wearing either his hero outfit [similar to spider-man’s; mechanical, blue, black and yellow, shoots light instead of silk], or in short sleeves, cedric prefers to wear smooth fabrics, mainly so he can be comfortable, but also so he can be quick and dodge in self-defense drills without getting worn down so easily. so, cedric took strong inspiration from spider-man for his hero outfit. he also wears long denim pants most of the time, but also sweatpants when he gets a pair or two. cedric only adds on to his appearance with his soft, doe-like hazel-eyes that are strikingly always filled with emotion. dazzlingly, his hair is soft and fluffy. shamefully, when he was little, cedric shamefully had a bowl cut instead of the side parting he has today. unfortunately for him, he's only 5'5, which is a little short for a 20-year old. he complains about his height and says he's average. others say they have no idea how his big heart fits into his tiny, thin and fragile body. yet, behind it all, cedric is really just an ordinary guy.

it was a normal life for cedric. for the most part, anyways. sure, there were some…bad aspects to his life, such as the way his mutant father treated him. he was always treated so poorly, because he was said to not have ever been affected by the fumes that the lab sent out — until finally, it happened. one day, he woke up to find that his light bulb had basically brightened when his gaze met contact with it. since that day, he’s been practicing with his magic. his father hated how he wasn’t like him. he should have been like him. but no, cedric was a queer, and his father hated him. in fact, he loathed him so much, that he got extremely close to actually killing cedric. cedric’s twin sister, eleanor, had to save him by using her healing abilities. she had then thrown avery out of the house with her telekineses, and avery packed his bags and left not even the next day. a’las, the unbelievable happened. cedric was invited to join the team of heroes. but he was invited to be apart of the main crew. cedric accepted the invitation, despite his hesitation and doubt. so now, he only has a few things to hide. he loves his male best friend, who’s just a normal citizen with powers — but his twin sister is his best friends girlfriend. cedric puts his sister first at all times, but it’s becoming too much. fighting crime, hiding his secrets…will he be able to keep it up, or will everything crumble beneath cedric’s own feet?

History: Iotos Power developed because of his unfortunate mental condition. He was diagnosed with minor schizophrenia when he was young. It was difficult to tell though because of his powers. Growing up the voices were quiet and only told him good things, but as he got older they got louder and just started having full conversations with him. Practical - Monroe is very practical she does things that are the most important and leaves everything else in the dust. To her everything that does not have an advantage, and little risk, lacks interest and/or value.
Rational - Monroe is sensible and is able to make decisions based on intelligent thinking rather than on emotion. She doesn't let her emotions take control, when she does, look out; it happens when she's mad.
Great in a Crisis - Monroe is relaxed and calm, it takes a lot to ruffle her feathers and she does great in challenging situations. She has a plan for a plan and a back up plan for that, in case things do go as she wants.

Her distrust grew, she hated other children around her, and her parents weren't helping her bitterness. When she pressed her parents for answers when they lied to her, they caved, answering everything and bringing her world on top of her. Her parents were in deep dept, she wasn't even their child, they only kept her for the money they got in return, they didn't really care all that much about her, their love for her wasn't love in the first place. Monroe ended up running away from home, only to return a year later, being twelve. She killed both her 'parents'.

PERSONALITY : Every little girl dreams of being a princess. Let's just say that Yerim never stopped dreaming, even if her current situation is far from the princess life. You would think that being obsessed with clothes and looking like a princess is something that you grow out of. That not everything has to be pink, but this hero has never thought that way. Her lifestyle reflects a life of someone that has never quite given up the dream of being swept off her feet by a dashing prince, a penchant for shiny things and bright colors. Yerim has always been bright and happy, and maybe a bit too romantic for her own good. A string of...less than successful prince trials will prove that. It also doesn't seem, from first glance, that she's supposed to be the intelligence hero. A bit airheaded at times, despite the uncanny way she can tell you the precise time. Combined with an airy voice; forget it — most people think she's a little slow, but it's just the way she talks when she's not excited.
Yerim has always been a bit particular. Wants certain things exactly the way she wants it. It's a wonder the costume department even managed to get her to compromise over the gigantic skirt she'd wanted in the beginning. The start of her career as a hero would have been very different, to say the least. But — it's pink? And this isn't just her costume, we're talking about. It's important to have a healthy balance in life. She's never been the kind of person to neglect care of herself, and deems it just as important to have a work-life balance. And...some people tend to see this as her not taking her job seriously — especially with her being on the older end of the big hero spectrum. But she does. At the end of the day, she's still just a person.
Or, in her case: still just a princess waiting for her prince.

HISTORY : When this whole thing started — y'know...life — her parents hadn't expected much. Yerim was born bright and happy, so happy they said she laughed instead of cried when the doctor spanked her newborn tush. Which was a lie, but they liked to think she'd always been fairly happy. Happy into childhood, in her little pink jumpers and neat little maryjanes. They didn't think too much of the way her math scores had been so good, or the way she could just seemingly luck out on something that seemed so precise. Her powers were not something so obviously noted until she hit middle school.
Picture this: the annual all-grades dodgeball match. Yerim hadn't been able to participate in the sixth grade, but as a seventh grade without a sign of being sick, she was ready to go. Her sparkly pink hair scrunchies holding long black hair out of her face, laces just as pink as she darted around the court. They tried to get her first. They tried getting her second. They tried that little ricochet movie they saw in that one movie, where the ball would bounce off someone else and onto her. But nothing seemed to work. Then there's Billie Dyer, with his super strength and maybe she had a crush on him.
But a crush didn't matter in light of winning the game for her team.
Yerim, and everyone else, learned several things. The chief among those things was that she was gifted with the sort of precision that was borderline godly. A dodge here, a turn there; she was giving Billie a run for his money. But there was also the matter of her returning throws being just right. Just out of reach of someone, but just where it needed to be to double bounce off three people. Until it was just she and Billie standing, and well...She won. Suddenly the talk of the whole school, she was thrust into the spotlight and suddenly there was testing being done.
She was much too young then to even realize what she could do with her powers. Mostly it served her well in getting good grades, picking the right seat. Little things like that. It wasn't until the whole crime rate thing because a problem that anyone considered she might be a hero of some sort. Small things where she might interfere with an active crime with a well-placed object or perfectly timed step backward. Yerim, as much as she liked helping others, tried not to be too much in the spotlight.
Though, when the hero licenses were first announced, she jumped at the chance. Because: a) what better way to meet her prince charming than working as a hero and b) she could wear a super costume while doing what'd done for quite some time. (Okay, so maybe the costume bit isn't as great as it could be, but she likes the one she has now!) The only problem is, she doesn't really see herself doing this for long. Get in, get hitched, and get out is the game plan. Even with all her adoring fans cheering her on.

He was thirteen when he met a girl named Lacy, well she went by Monroe, and she had run away from home. He was the one to drive her to kill her parents, and the two joined the Spm when he killed his own parents after having enough of them for so long.

Personality: Nyx is suspicious of everyone she meets and never lets anyone get close to her anymore. She hates other people and only trusts her cat, Sam. She ignores other people and can't be convinced to join a side... yet.
History: Nyx had a normal life until the explosion. Her parents had a friend who offered to give them a tour. During the tour, everything exploded and her mother died. Her father disappeared, and Nyx was buried under the rubble. When she was dug out, she realized that she had powers.

Kyla was a happy child, she was nice and outgoing, and for that she got bullied. She had one friend but even with that one friend, she was happy, her name was Riley, but then she went missing when they were 14, she'd always blamed herself for it and she just closed herself off from people.
Her parents were worried about her because she had never came out her room, to eat, to shower, she didn't come out at all. Soon her parents forced her out and took her to a psychiatrist and she was diagnosed with depression, her parents didn't take that as an answer and said it was just a phase that she'd grow out of.
