when does six of crows get good?

this is my second time trying to read six of crows and i'm having trouble getting into it. i've tried to sit down and read it multiple times and i'm only on page 27. when does it start to get exciting? i really don't want to dnf it but i might have to.

i thought all of it was really interesting but the plot really picks up when kaz gets the ice court job so i think about 70 pages in i don’t really remember
