Rafał Wątorski (rafal_watorski) | 678 comments #4-6) Ludzie Północy is the primary title and Saga anglosaska is the subtitle, so the titles should be as following where the series number matches the title as shown on the cover:
9788328134263: Ludzie Północy, tom I: Saga anglosaska (Ludzie Północy, #1)
9788328134430: Ludzie Północy, tom II: Saga islandzka (Ludzie Północy, #2)
9788328141285: Ludzie Północy, tom III: Saga europejska (Ludzie Północy, #3)

#7-9) "#" is not in the title. Please set the titles to the following where the series number matches the title as shown on the cover:
9788328134324: Łasuch, tom pierwszy (Łasuch, #1)
9788328134560: Łasuch, tom drugi (Łasuch, #2)
9788328141537: Łasuch, tom trzeci (Łasuch, #3)

#2, #3) Thanks for the suggestion, I'll post them in the separate requests.

Michele | 6354 comments Regarding the titles for #4-6 per Goodreads policy the series information must go in parentheses after the individual book title. So I can't change those.

Regarding the titles for #7-9, I've removed the "#" sign

Rafał Wątorski (rafal_watorski) | 678 comments Maybe I simply lack the experience, so please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

#4-6) From https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
An exception to this is when the series name is the primary or only title. In this case, the title may be formatted with series name and number as the title (the number may be written out to match the title as shown on the edition) and any additional title text as the subtitle.
In this and many other graphic novels the series name is the primary title and the other part is the subtitle, in which case Ludzie Północy, tom I: Saga anglosaska seems to follow the above guideline.

#7-9) You removed the #, but now the title is simply "Łasuch 1". Looking at the above guideline, the title may be formatted as Łasuch, tom pierwszy (as on the cover) or Łasuch, tom 1
Few examples from other editions: (I'm aware there's a possibility that I could've picked an example that's not necessarily correctly following the guideline)
Sweet Tooth, Book One (as written on the cover)
Sweet Tooth, Tome 1 (Sweet Tooth, #1)

Rafał Wątorski (rafal_watorski) | 678 comments bump :)

message 7: by Michele (new)

Michele | 6354 comments For the Łasuch books I added "tom" before the number.

For the Ludzie Północy books, the series title (Ludzie Północy) is not the only title. Each book also has its own separate title (e.g. Saga anglosaska). So, based on GR policy, the unique individual title is used as the title and the series information goes into parentheses after it.

Rafał Wątorski (rafal_watorski) | 678 comments Ok, I guess I understand it a little bit better now. Perhaps I wrongly assumed that "Saga anglosaska" is a subtitle.
