i recently just started watching gilmore girls, and i'd love to know who you think is the best out of the three- and why you think that.

dean because he’s nice to rory
I think at the end Logan was the best boyfriend for Rory because Dean was only his first love and Rory changed after that. Jess when he was young he was toxic to Rory. But then Rory evolved and so did Jess. When Jess became a better person for Rory, she had already changed completely. So in the end the only one that fit her personality was Logan I think.
they're both really a match for rory. the former is a little toxic but he's kind to her generally and his humor fits rory's. the latter is a little conceited and rude sometimes, but he's devoted to rory and cares genuinely about her and isn't toxic
Tristian because enemies to lovers is top tier
Jess because I feel like he pushes Rory to be herself and be the best version of her
*spoilers*Dean- was a perfect first boyfriend when he first came into the picture. Took care of her and did nice things for her but as time went on, he only got more toxic and manipulative. Time and again, he disappoints. Forcing Rory to confess her love when she wasn’t ready. Getting mad and yelling at the first sight of a difficult situation instead of handling it maturely and talking it out. Acting extremely jealous and insecure when she was friends with other people (I’m aware that Rory wasn’t completely innocent here, but still). When he and Rory break up he acts sweet to her all while threatening Jess behind the scenes, explicitly because he knows Jess can’t do anything about it. Using Lindsay as a rebound and getting married when he was clearly not over Rory and cheating on his wife later on. Also… did they really ever have good chemistry at all? I mean why did he even like her in the first place except for the fact that she reads? Was it really love or just infatuation? He may have been a good first boyfriend but he got increasingly controlling and toxic.
honestly, they all kind of suck a one point or another. the first two seasons, I loved Dean, but after some of his, actions, I could not with him.
I didn't like high school Jess, but once he was an adult, I actually wish he made more appearances.
I never hated Logan, but I never loved him either. Sometimes, I would think wow, he's great, and other times, I just wanted him gone.

Team Logan until I die! He did everything for her and tried to give her all he could. Jess was too toxic as a teen, but then was too good of a guy to be with adult Rory (who was a bitch). Dean was just a first love and a meanie, and she wouldn’t have lasted a month with Tristian! I also can’t believe Rory didn’t marry Logan just to end up being his lover 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Team Jess, though he was a little toxic as a teen he become a better person and became too good for her

None of them were that great. Jess is the most interesting character for sure, and he has the most character development. I haven't seen everything with Logan yet. Just not Dean. Dean had his moments, but as the show went on... Logan is also an interesting character like Jess from what I've seen. To be honest, boys like Logan in stuff are my guilty pleasure. Rich boys who don't care to seriously about anything with daddy issues-
all of them had their own flaws tbh. but if i had to choose, probably jess

definitely jess but mainly once he’s older and more mature. i do love him as a teen too but he did make some mistakes. logan was okay but sometimes just not right for rory and dean sucked.
haven’t gotten to the part where jess has matured yet (i’m on my first watch, just started season 6) so for now it’s logan

omg ikr!! i mean I kinda felt bad for him cause he was pining after her so much but I never really liked him and do not understand why people love him so much like??
Okay Dean was fine until he blew up at Rory and then their entire relationship became toxic. He was nice but too overprotective. I liked Jess but idk Rory was happy with him but he just wasn't my fave. Logan orrrr if Tristan was ever given a chance by her then him

team jess because she was always her best self with him and they pushed each other to their highest potential and believed in each other sm. dean was misogynistic and toxic and rory was always scared to say anything to piss him off. logan was just. no. her and tristan should’ve been a thing.

Team Jess till the day that I die. I NEVER liked Dean, he is SUPER toxic, since the beginning, like he literally stalked Rory and thought it was cute and romantic??? And when seasons started going by he just became more and more toxic and overprotective.
I don't have anything in particular against Logan, he was a nice boyfriend and all (maybe a little immature for me) but he never truly grew on me. I'll admit it was the most mature and long-lasting relationship Rory had, but still... BUT at the end he screwed the whole thing up by not accepting Rory's choice (that was absolutely right and spot-on btw).
So yeah, Jess is the best for multiple reasons, but mainly because he brought out the best of Rory and truly understood her.
ALTHOUGH if I have to say who the best guy in GG is, the answer is very simple: DAVE
