hii i rlly need some good book recs bc i have the humor of a 2 year old and no books except for children’s books makes me happy

Hi all,
I have a very specific book plot that I'm craving, and that's the one where the guy only hangs out with, becomes friends with or dates the main character because of a dare or bet. He ends up actually falling in love with her and eventually his original aim is revealed to the main character.
Any good recommendations?
