I can't remember where I found this out but her writing was influenced by Diana Galbadon, so you'd see similarities.
I just read Follow The Heart by Anita Mills. The last half took place around the French and Indian War. So many indigenous characters that shape the story. Does this count for my American Natives category?
lol it has satisfying ending, so you won't need to get into the full series if you don't have the time. I suspect someone else will be able to answer your question for the Anita Mills book.
Oh, it just moves on to the next family member? It looks good, but I'm not good at long series.I'm going to count, Follow My Heart!

I think the next one follows the same couple but at some point it transitions to other characters like their daughter. But I felt that Into the Wilderness had a solid ending and swoony quotes all on its own :).
I read a lot of contemporary this month. I did get around to The Starlet Spy, but the romance is a subplot. Hopefully I can get to one for Your Choice.Update: & I did! Remember Love was my best read for July.
Mariana, what did you choose for time travel?
I have read The Secret Duke by Jo Beverley for Georgian. I still need to find a Tudor and Diversity read . I am a bit Topsy Turvy with my reads, for this challenge. But I am getting there.
I read Renaissance / Tudor- The Rebel Bride by Elizabeth MossDiversity (featuring at least one lead character with diverse racial/ethnic background) - The Widow and the Sheikh by Marguerite kaye .
Both were good
I have just read a book. Where the ton thing his mother was a Indian but she’s Mexican. His best friend a Comanche. And Gypsy travellers are friends . Would this count for Diversity??
Yes, I agree it would count for Diversity: featuring at least one lead character with diverse racial/ethnic background.
I don't think so. I read one set in Scotland, but it discussed cotton for weaving and the difficulty with shipping and the war.
Some months are so much easier than others. I already read both for October. Civil War / Pre-Civil War - Her Traitor's Heart by Colleen Hall - completed 10/8/2023, rated 4 stars
Medieval - Lord of the North Wind by Jayne Castel - completed 10/1/2023, rated 4.5 stars
For Civil War: The Kiss Flower by GilmoreMedieval: Never Seduce A Scot and Highlander Most Wanted by Maya Banks
For highlander/Scottish: In Her Highlander's Bed by Lynsay Sands or The Highland Warload's Kiss by Donna Fletcher.
Around the world: I did read My Dark Prince by Julia Ross, but I didn't know if it counts because it's a made-up country. So, I also reread By Rights Of Arms by Robyn Carr. I still love that book!
It would be better if they started books with a date on the first page. With a date at least we know what timeline we are reading straight away. Instead of realising part way through the story.

I really prefer that, too. People also don't always categorize the right books on the GR lists, so putting it on page that's available with the preview can save time.
