added you!! feel free to add me back if you want <3
Feel free to add me! If any of you have ever read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, you've got to check out The Lord Of The White Hell series. It's like Carry On but kind of has more of a grimdark vibe, story was far more meaningful imo (covered some sensitive topics like religion, coming out, racism)I adored this series, hated how quickly it was wrapped up though. It definately does have its flaws, if I had to judge it by book one it would be 5/5, after book two I would say series is a 3.5/5.
It's like the author started all these subplots that were really interesting (like, there's a kid who's kind of described as being autistic, and as someone with autism this was the first time I was reading and had it not explicitly stated on the page but I could tell that's what the author was trying to do.)
Mild spoiler but I don't think it changes the story at all; reason why I'd honestly suggest just enjoying book one and being done
Then gave him this backstory where someone had to *possibly* kill someone who *possibly* did horrible things to him.
Cool, I was digging it. Then it wasn't mentioned I think ever again until the last like 15% of the SERIES.
And if I recall, it's like the author forgot she wrote that, until some bull at the end where it nullifies anything those scenes meant.
carve the mark; veronica roth(duology), ruža; nura bazdulj-hubijar(teilogy), rangers apprintice;john flanagan (series) and stand-alones: the girl next door;phoebe morgan, marion lane and the midnight murder; T.A willbergcurrently reading lament by maggie stiefvater and i'm liking it so far, it feels a lot like twilight
The cruel prince trilogy is really good but its kind of hard to get into. Definitely read it if you want an enemies to lovers though!!
Bergman Brothers by Chloe Liese, Twisted series by Ana Huang, Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert.
The Books of Bayern have been a longtime favorite of mine. This includes The Goose Girl, Enna Burning, River Secrets, and Forest Born all of which are by Shannon Hale! I also love all the Grishaverse books by Leigh Bardugo. The Six of Crows duology is probably my favorite, but I’m in the middle of reading Rule of Wolves and it has been super good so far! However, if you want to read Six of Crows I highly recommend starting with the Shadow and Bone trilogy because there is a lot of information and world building that happens in there that is helpful to know!
by far the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo, it was a much more enjoyable read than the Shadow and Bone series.
Dark Verse SeriesOff Campus Series
Royal Elite Series
Vow of Deception Series
Dreamland Billionaire Series
Legacy of Gods Series
The Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick was one of my favorites! I also loved the Matched trilogy by Ally Condie.
The Made Series By Danielle Lori ♠️My all-time favourite and the series that got me into Mafia books!
Percy Jackson duh and Legend by Marie Lu, I’m on the fourth book/add on and it’s amazing! I’m reading a couple of series after this so I’ll keep you updated haha
I love The Folk of the Air by Holly Black, but the one that wasn´t recommended here and not that many people have read is The Malediction Triology by Danielle L. Jensen. It is really good, fun and interesting
