I was really afraid Nell would somehow persuade Dom to contrive Frank's release. Fortunately Frank kills himself before she can. Hard to decide who was most odious, Frank, Cora, or Nell.

Previously one of my favourite authors, I just couldn't get into this one and gave up after reading for a couple of hours. Perhaps I wasn't in the mood, but I really didn't like any of the initial characters and found it hard to concentrate on the plot as it jumped around a lot. Maybe I'll try it again another time.

I couldn’t get into the idea of a quest being active for decades and the @whomever discussions were boring
