Oh, Sharon, I'm so sorry! I hope it is not as bad as it looks and you can go home today. Huge hug.

Big hug for you, Esther. Sharon, I think you have every right to complain. I hope your ankle heals fast!
As I said, nothing too bad... just life being intense, I just feel buried under all I have to do and resolved. Internet time is being cut for lack of time.
Sharon, I hope you don't need surgery. It's hard enough to recover from a broken ankle without that. Hope you are home and in a bit less pain by now.

Sending lots of good vibes to all who are in need of them and may they put smiles on all of your faces.
Happy August :DHow you going, Sharon? Thinking of you, and it's not whinging at all when there is stuff going on and you are with your people. We have you :D And it sounds understandably frustrating and painful!
Sharon, sorry to hear about your ankle. I slipped off a hilly walking track and broke mine a few years ago now! Hospital decided to put plate in and has been good ever since. Though not a pleasant experience to get there and can sympathize with you.Esther, sorry to hear that life is being intense for you. Lack of time can be very frustrating and hope things improve soon.
I'm flying on August 31! So not long anymore. Actually, I'm gonna visit my boyfriend who had the audacity to be born in India haha
Sorry to hear about your mum Margo. And your ankle Sharon. And that you're struggling Esther! Notice handed in on Monday. I'm currently signed off with stress/burnout. Off camping tomorrow in Cornwall with my boyfriend. Weather looks horrendous though so should be interesting lol. Got next week off annual leave then back to work for 3 weeks and then that's me done with the job. Phew.
I'm glad you got a little time off to regroup before you need to finish up with your job, Sarah. I hope your last 3 weeks there aren't too stressful. Have a fun time camping. Hope that weather holds off for you.
Wooohooo Sarah! Big step but sounds like it will be a good move. Glad you're having a break too. Camping in wet weather always makes the best stories, even if it can be sometimes horrendous at the time lol. But fingers crossed it is better weather than you are expecting.
Enjoy your camping trip, Sarah, I hope the weatherman is wrong. My son and his father will be back today from their camoing trip. It was only from yesterday morning until today's evening with an organisation that focuses on bonding with your child through nature. It was so bad weather yesterday. So much rain, like all the water that evaporated in the countries with the heatwave dropped here. Today it's storming. Tomorrow will be my last week off from the 3 and I hope it would ge a bit better. I'm not a fan of very hot weather, but a bit of sun and dry weather would be fine. It's cold and feels like fall now.Oh well, I'm done complaining, haha, will do some study and reading until they get home.
I hope everyone enjoyed their camping days despite the weather! It's been a great summer here. Probably the best since we live in central PA. It's weird because it's been super hot everywhere, but here, in our forgotten valley, the temperature was perfect. Hot enough to do summer things, like swimming in the lake, but cool enough at night to sleep without AC or a fan (most nights). We had the usual amount of rain and t-storm (typical here). First time in 13 years I wouldn't mind if summer lasts one more month. Usually at this point I'm praying for snow.
Survived the camping trip. Went to see Openheimer in the local cinema on Friday night. It was pretty wet and windy that night in the tent, so loud! It remained standing though and we were dry which is the main thing. We went for a very windy and fresh wall along the beach and headland which was fantastic. Soooo windy though. Above 55mph gusts. Thankfully it had died down by the evening and we got a better night's sleep the second night. Packed up in the dry. So it was eventful but we enjoyed it for the most part. Think I might be getting too old for camping though lol. Not good with the discomfort and poor quality sleep
The red white & royal blue movie is out ahhhhh 😍It’s on prime video for anyone interested. I just saw a post about it (didn’t even know there would be a movie) and now I’m happily watching lol

Oh, really? I didn't know there was a movie about. I have Amazon Prime (the basic version). Is that the same?
i am finally on vacation. I am making it a staycation. I have a lot of things to do around here and I am dead tired. I will enjoy my city and its surrounding.
Sorry Janice, I plan to read a lot and make a dent in my current badge.
