readwithevelane Hi there!

I'm new to this group and have a question about adding books to Goodreads. I saw that there's a thread to get books added and a template to use. Are we able to have a book added that's not traditionally published and may not have all the information for the template? An author I like has some free books on her website that I wanted to see if they could be added but didn't know if it was doable since some of the needed information isn't accessible.

If the books are available through places in addition to the author's website - a bookseller like Amazon, etc - then they would be eligible to be added. For example, one of my favorite authors notifies her newsletter readers when one of her books is available for free at various bookseller sites. Those are eligible to be added, if they're not on Goodreads already.
