What is your 2023 reading goal? Did you hit your 2022 target?

message 2: by Jacob (new)

Jacob Gillett | 1 comments I hit mine, but I typically set a lower one that just helps me get over reading slumps, not one I'm stressing about. read 54/30 this time and will probably keep it at 30 as I want to get to some larger books I've been holding off on

Colleen Villasenor | 6 comments My goal was 6o and I read 124. It sounds like I did a lot but I counted books that I read to my grandkids and most of the comic books I read so some of those were a very quick read. With that in mind, I think I'll set my goal at 100 and maybe challenge myself a little more

Andre Haftevani | 8 comments I went 62/12, but that mostly because I got into audiobooks this year. Otherwise, I'd planned on reading one physical book a month, which I ended up doing as well.

Avery Jones (averyadventurous) | 6 comments My goal for 2022 was 45 and I read 44. But honestly, I had a really awful year so I’m proud of myself for getting so close. I’m going to set 45 again for 2023 🎊

David (maineogre) | 1 comments 2022 111 of 100 goal (goal had a 50-50 split between graphic novels and regular books). 2023, I have few graphic novels in backlog so dropping to 60 books.

Peter | 1 comments I set my 2022 goal at 42 books, managed to hit 44. 16382 pages read, or about 1.87 pages for every hour I was alive, which still feels pretty impressive even though a downgrade from last year (and nowhere near my highest). As best as I can determine, that was 17 books by men, 19 by women, and three by non-binary authors (with 5 books being multi-author anthologies). To my surprise, only one reread this year... usually I wind up going back to old favorites a couple times a year, but this time I guess I just didn't find time for it.
