I couldn't help but to notice you're probably Hawaiian or at least live in Hawaii so I checked out your profile. My grandson (one of my 22 grandkids) lives in Hilo, too. He moved there close to 3 years ago. My husband and I visited 3 islands in 2019: Kauai, Maui, and Hilo. While in Hilo we took a tour up the see the volcano and it was so beautiful at night! Christopher has been sending my pictures/videos of the volcano from his front yard and it is so pretty to see. But I was alarmed at first!

Sorry for the VERY late reply! I’m still getting used to Goodreads challenges! But that’s amazing! I wonder if I ever met him??? It’s a small world here as you know!! And you are correct - I am Hawaiian and I live on the BI! Mauna Loa erupting was majestic! Kilauea is a bit harder to view as most times you have to hike, but being able to see Mauna Loa was stunning!
