the shatter me series is quite an easy read and the selection trilogy is good too! shadow and bone is good if you like fantasy

the book of beginnings by john stephens is a middle grade that made me fall in love with reading! only three books and the first two are AMAZING, cant say anything about the third bc i haven't read it yet 🥲

I mean if you're looking for an og series I will recommend Percy Jackson to anyone I come across, or either of his other non 'pjo' series (Magnus Chase & Kane Chronicles are both really good)

but Miss Perrigins home for peculiar children
or the Gone series (though the last few books, especially plague were kinda hard to get through , at least for me, just because of the description of well... the plague and everything that is going on. but that's not until book 4.
