Sue Miz (suereads2030) | 236 comments I love Dark Romances
dont mind stalking, a little bit of forcing
and the over the top spice
also don't mind triggering subjects
however, there are two themes that I draw the line at
Rape done by the MMC to the FMC and later she forgives
and first degree incest

what about you?

Juliana | 93 comments I’ve never read a book with rape and even tho it’s fiction I’m not sure I would b ok with it. Same w incest

Charity (TAKING A BREAK) | 81 comments personally, mine would have to be domestic violence, SA, and cheating. i dont go too far into the dark-romance category bc ik there's some darker content that i may not mentally be ready for.

a lot of times DR is about these things done to the h, but the H is the one helping her not doing it
my issue is when the H is the one doing it and she becomes OK

Shira Dali | 148 comments My line is at rape or SA (when the “love interest” takes the main character and the main forgives them), Drugging anyone (for bad intentions like, rape, embarrassment or anything that could cause really bad things), and something that really draws me out of dark romance because that happens in almost EVERY dark romance, a strong male character that ”saves” the main and acts like freaking god (actually that’s an ick and an enough I’d every book for me)
