I finished it! And I agree with Corina... I was surprised by the ending.
so I'm assuming that y'all are way ahead of me in reading this so I'm just gonna go ahead and say this, in Dutch's POV when he says "That had always been my place, I thought, taking the scraps that August Salt left on the table. It still was."oooooff that sounds so brutal to me, like so much hurt in that bit of a sentence taking in consideration that Emery and August seem to have a history together
