Hi Sara! Welcome :)It's only acceptable to download books from authorized sellers. Any site that doesn't pay the author is a form of piracy and prevents authors from getting paid and enabling them to spend time writing.
I must sound like a horrible teacher! Sorry ;). Here's what you can do... If you subscribe to authors' maling lists, you'll often get goodies like free chapters of new works or free stories. Also, did you see anyone's "advent calandars"? Like this one by tha amazing Jae:
https://jae-fiction.com/sapphic-book-...
Some of the goodies have ended, but you'll still find a couple of things, I would guess.
Also check out authors on https://www.royalroad.com/welcome and see what you can find. And if you keep in touch with ARC groups and perhaps some specific authors, you might be able to get ARC (advance reader copy) books. Go to NetGalley.com and sign up, where you'll find all the ARCs you could ever read!
Lastly, if you email me at author.tierney.moore@gmail.com, I'll email you the first novella in my Seductive Escort series (note: it's erotica, featuring 1 MF and 2 FF scenes).
Hope that helps! Let me know how you get on :). Merry Christmas!
There are a lot of sapphic books on kindle unlimited, if you get the free kindle app you get 3 months free on kindle unlimited and then it’s £7.99 a month x

Get Libby ! Go to the Queer Liberation Library, Sign up for card. Then you should be able to access their entire digital library through Libby.
The Queer Liberation Library https://www.queerliberationlibrary.org/
Also many library not in your area will still give you a card to access their digital collections (libby is the most popular app for digital libraries.) So call big libraries and see if you can get a card.
Libby and hoopla. You can sign up for ecards for various libraries online, you'll need to search them out, and some are temporary. Try the big cities first. I tried everand for awhile, but I don't like their policies and they block your account if you try and cancel the day before your trial ends. So if you do a free trial cancel at least a week before.

Some time ago I returned to the world of reading. But unlike when I was younger, I don't have money to buy books. I see myself in a complicated situation, because my interest is sapphico books in English (this helps me practice the language). Being from Spain, this is very complicated for me, because public libraries do not have this type of genre.
My question is: in this case, would it be ethical to download the books online? If not, is there an alternative such as joining groups where online books that other people have already bought are posted?
I'm sorry I'm desperate :(
