The Life of an MP by Jess Phillips - 4 stars

This is a really down-to-earth, easy to read book about what a British Member of Parliament actually does all day. I'm not normally on the same side of politics as this particular MP but I'm pretty sure if I lived in her area I would be voting for her next time! She does take plenty of potshots at the opposing party but the book is also filled with personal details and stories of genuine people and the difficulties that cause them to approach their MP. I found it fascinating and just flew through the book.
