We soon get the killer’s point of view. What clues, if any did his ramblings offer? Were you able to speculate about potential suspects?

Sad to say I was not able to figure out who it was until later in the book. Lots of rage with inferiority feelings was what I got.

The only thing I got out of his ramblings is that he wanted revenge against a bunch of people. It could be people that had done something terrible to him, or it could be a group of people who just didn't notice him. I didn't have any suspects at this point.

His POV revealed someone very angry and very jealous of young men he perceived of as being better looking and wealthier. I suspected it was someone the victims had been to high school with.

It helped me narrow it down to Joe Marcus and the other guy Harper knew from school - Zachary Baker.

Lauren, I had the same impressions but it was a while before any suspects surface. Like you, once she interviewed Joe and Zachary, they flew to the top of my list. Until then, I was at a loss.

Yes, before this, I had no idea who the killer could be.
