Time period: I read it around 2005-2007, when i was very young.
Cover: I can't remember specifics, but I do remember it was spiral-bound and the cover was either green or orange. My sister said she thinks it had an alligator on the cover.
Art style: It was lineless and very stylized, it used strong shapes for everything and was very colourful. I remember birds being drawn as basically just knobbly legs with a fluffy orb for the head and body. The closest thing I can think of to the vibe of it's style would be like the cover of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Contents: It was a picture book with various fold out, pull out, and pop up elements. It compared various animals with adjectives, in different situations. Like a tall bird with knobbly knees being embarrassed to be around the short birds. A heavy pig crying because he bent the telephone wire when he tried to sit on it like the light birds around him. A big cow being dwarfed by an even bigger dinosaur. A scary octopus hiding to try and catch friendly fish. A small bird getting bullied by a big bird but an even bigger bird coming and saving him. It was definitely aimed at a pre-k demographic.
