one author's name transcribed differently

The author is duplicated with 2 spellings of his name. It is confusing because I found that some books were under Vasilij Aksjonov, some under Vasilij Aksyonov.
Is there any way to combine authors and / or editions? I posted on goodreads help and was navigated to Librarians, Thank you!

Please always provide links to the author profiles in question.

If both spellings appear on covers, the profiles may not be merged. The most common English/international spelling (I assume that is Vasilij Aksyonov) should be primary on all editions, with the name as appears on the covers added as secondary.

Actually, that is Vasily Aksyonov (not Vasilij).
The other profile is Vasilij Aksjonov.

We know it's the same author, but readers should be able to find the author according to the spelling they have on the cover of their book, so different spellings should not be merged. If Goodreads policy is followed correctly, the English/international author profile will contain all books/editions by the author.

If some editions still need to be combined, please provide the links.
