I would recommend
- Funny You Should Ask by Elissa Sussman
- Ivy by Willa Nash (there's 3 love stories here, one of which fit your situation)
- The American Roommate Experiment
all of these have that main-character-falls-first with a lot of pining. hope you enjoy!

i have two:
1- my friends all ship me with this guy that i'm just-friends with...
2- i feel like this new girl hangs out with my best friend a lot more than i do and i'm scared my best friend likes her better than me :/

when i was at middle school i was one of the best students in the school and there was boy who's trying to beat me we were hating each other. -u know academic rivals but in a childhood way- so whatever when we graduated from mid school turns out we are going to go to same high school too!! and in the high school he started being really nice to me in fact he was the nicest guy i've ever met and he gave me mixed signals. he stared at me for minutes in high school graduation symphony but i don't have his phone number and he doesn't have any social media accs and we're in different colleges so i can't keep in touch with him. he literally haunted all of my what if's!!

woww that is specific and I've got the perfect books for you: Kiss the Sky & Fuel the Fire by Krista and Becca Ritchie (part of the addicted/calloway sisters series, search up reading order. i'd highly recommend reading all of it for the full experience, although you can start with kiss the sky).
Connor and Rose have always been academic rivals in school but go their separate ways in college before they cross paths again and give their relationship a chance.
more academic rivals to lovers without the college part:
- Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon
- Not Here to be Liked by Michelle Quach
- Tweet Cute by Emma Lord

- Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
- How To Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie
- Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson
all of these have a lot of family drama, hopefully it's what you're looking for!

what would be one for 'a friend that out of the blue completely disassociates themselves from the rest of your group, as if they never knew you even though you where like best friends for years'.......... I don't have trauma and issues with relationships because of this whaaat hahaha

thank u!!
tbh, I haven't read a lot of books that have this very specific trope but the few I can think of right now are:
- Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
- In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashely Winstead
both of these have a lot of friend group drama which seems like it's what you're looking for. hope you enjoy!

ok, so, there was this guy that i liked for a year a half straight without even talking to him (oh and get this, he liked me too FOR LONGER). anyway, we got to 8th grade & started being friends, we got really close & we could talk to each other for hours & i had sm people ask what was up with us cause "you look at him like he put the stars in the sky" which he pretty much did, i loved him so much. we never even kissed, and i'm still mourning our lost connection. anyway, we started getting flirty when i was involved in drama, and his friends told him to ditch me :) and he did...

I think Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone is the perfect book for you. also I am so sorry you're going thru that. hope things get better soon for you love <33

But hear me out: SONG recs basted on your drama"
thank u!! and i love that idea but i'm not the biggest song person so I'D be the one asking for recs haha

omg I really wanna give you some advice rn, but i'm not gonna do that.
the book i'd recommend for you is Punk 57 by Penelope Douglass. it's about misha & ryen who have been pen-pals since elementary school and it's essentially a childhood-bsf-to-lovers but it's SUPER toxic which is why this book reminded me of your situation. hope you enjoy <3 (ok small piece of advice cuz i can't help myself: if he ditched you just cuz his friends told him to... he's not worth it love)
tell me bout a situation, or something you went/are going through and i'll try to give you a book rec based on that! feel free to dm me here if you want to be anonymous <3
