You're welcome! Yes! Keep us posted! Run with whatever idea it is, I'm sure it's great!

Jonathan, you really know how to make us feel special and you always seem to be so upbeat. Many of us know how hard you work, between your writing, your job and your family. For you to carve out some of your precious time to be here with us, it means a LOT!

Another ominous surprise awaits at the end of Chapter 10. I finished that chapter earlier this morning.

That's so kind of you, Kandice! I'm genuinely enjoying being here and spending time with you all. Thank you for being awesome!

I have to say this is nothing like the other gothic novels I have read.
If more of them were as engrossing as this, I would definitely read more gothic horror.

Thank you, Michael! Yes, they are so dysfunctional! Those verbal sparring matches were fun to write. :-)

That's so kind of you, Char. Thank you so much. I'm having a blast!

We're so happy to have you here, Sarah!

Thanks for checking it out, Gareth!

That's so great to hear. Thank you, Michael!

Thank you for that review, Michael. I really enjoyed it!

What a magnificent review! I appreciate it so much, Sarah. Thank you!!!

Thank you for joining us, Brenna!

I loved Dust Devils Calvin! I think you’ll also enjoy it if you’re liking this one.

That's fantastic! Thank you. Yes, it's called Dust Devils. I'm really fond of that one and hope you dig it too!

Thank you so much, Ginger!

Fantastic! That world is such a fun one for me. Bleak, but rife with possibilities. I've been thinking a lot of doing a third one.
I started this earlier this week and had planned on reading it in one go this weekend but my niece came over and she doesn’t stop talking long enough to breathe, let alone read. 😑
I really like what I’ve read of it so far.

wow, that dinner party took a turn I didn't expect! I was thinking, these people fight so much! i got to read a big chunk, I'm around 60% or so.

Hah! Yes. Fun and exhausting.

Yes! That dinner...so many etiquette rules broken there. An absolute clinic on what not to do at the dinner table. :-)

Thank YOU, Calvin! I really appreciate that!

Confession: I love that word.

Char is a rock star.

Thank you so much, Todd! I do love the way those sisters go after each other. :-)

I love the title and the old school feel to the cover art. It reminded me of Victoria Holt novels of the 1970s.
I've made it to Part II - Castle Magnus. I am really enjoying the writing style, which seems to blend the old fashioned feel of a late 19th century novel while at the same time being using more modern structures in the dialogue.
Good stuff so far!

I finished the book last night and I am still wiping the blood off of my brow! Whew!
