Time for a serial read!

This challenge runs from January 01, 2023 - June 30, 2023.

All tasks must relate to books in a series.
You may use books you read for other challenges. Any format is acceptable - paper, audio and ebooks.
Rereads are allowed.
A book may only be used once, minimum 120 pages.

This challenge consists of 4 levels with 5 tasks for each level.
To complete the challenge you would have to complete one task from each level - 10 books in total.

Choose 1 task from each level:

Level 1
1. Read a book that is part of the official series of books, but written by a different author to the one who started the series.
2. Read the final book to complete a series. It doesn't have to be the last book in the series, just the only one you haven't read in the series.
3. Read the first book of a different series by an author you have already read.
4. Read any 1 book in a series that already has more than 8 books in the series.
5. Read the first book in a series by an author new to you.

Level 2
1. Read a book from two series/ sub-series that interconnects (read one book from each series).
2. Read a duology.
3. Read 2 books that forms part of the same series, but are not the first or last books in the series.
4. Read 1 book from two different series where the original publication date of the first book in both series is after 2000. (You can read any book in the series, it doesn't have to be the first one, but the first one must be published after 2000).
5. Read two books from two different series set on two different continents.

Level 3
1. Read three third books from three different series.
2. Read three books set in fictional places.
3. Read a trilogy.
4. Read 3 books with 3-word titles.
5. Read three book from three different genres.

Level 4
1. Read 4 books that have author(s) using pseudonyms that are part of a series. All 4 don't have to be the same author, but they all need to use their pseudonym for the particular books you read.
2. Read 4 books that form part of the same series.
3. Read four books that form part of a series that has been made into a movie or television series (does not have to be four different series, nor do all four books have to part of the same series).
4. Read 4 books published in the same decade.
5. Read 4 books from 4 different series where the original publication date of the first book in each series is before 2000. (You can read any book in the series, it doesn't have to be the first one).

Optional: If you want to extend this to 15 books, you may do so by choosing one extra task from here
1. Read 5 books with 5 or more words in the title.
2. Read 5 books from 5 different series where the author's name or surname starts with the same letter.
3. Read 5 books where the authors all share the current mortal state - they are either all dead or all still alive at the start of this challenge.
4. Read 5 books from the same genre.
5. Read 5 books that are all uneven numbers in a series (e.g. books 3 or 5 in the series, but no books 2 or 4).
