Heather I just joined the group and I wanted to say "Hi". I enjoy reading several different genres, but the mystery genre is my favorite.

Some of my favorite mystery authors include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, M.C. Beaton, and Colin Dexter.

Bill Welcome to the group, Heather. I've read a couple of MC Beaton's books and have enjoyed so far. I think I prefer Agatha to Hamish, but the jury is still out. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here.

Heather Hi Bill. Thanks for the welcome. I was introduced to M.C. Beaton through her Hamish books, which I really enjoyed.

It was through that introduction that I moved on to reading her Agatha books. I'm about midway though that series and I'm still really enjoying it. :-)

Bill If we haven't done before, maybe that might make a good thread, Agatha or Hamish?.. will have to think about that..

message 8: by Heather (new)

Heather Sounds like fun. I'm up for debating that one if you decide to put the question to the group. :-)

Geza Tatrallyay | 43 comments Have you read any Philip Kerr? E.g. the Bernie Gunther series...
Maybe more historical noir / thriller but informative and lots of fun...Twisted Reasons
