Xoxoxoe has had some of her mother's much read Elizabeth Peter's mystery paperbacks in a box and finally pulled some out. "Crocodile on the Sandbank is a fun, cozy historical mystery with an interesting setting that sets up the series of books to come."

With my mom it was the Tony Hillerman books we listened to on tape on a cross country drive.

That's one thing we never did was audio books. I learned later it probably was a good thing, as an adult I learned they made me as much car sick as reading! (oops)
