Donation Campiagn for Those in Need

Hello Everyone,

My name is Adam Sikes and I am the author of Landslide.

Between 01 December 2022 and January 31, 2023, I will donate all of my author proceeds from Landslide book sales to the International Rescue Committee (IRC - https://www.rescue.org/) which provides humanitarian assistance to the many innocent civilians displaced by the ongoing war in Ukraine. With a harsh winter upon them and no sign of the conflict ending, the need, particularly now, is great.

If you’ve already read Landslide, you know that the latter half of the book takes place in eastern Ukraine during the middle of the conflict. While I wrote Landslide long before the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, by chance the backdrop of my novel tracks all too closely with real-world events. Thus, I feel compelled to try to help in some way those who are suffering as a result of this conflict. Like some of you, I have seen and experienced war up close—my heart goes out to the men, women, and children who have to endure this war on their doorstep.

In this season of giving, if you are considering ways to help others in need, please consider this campaign and the IRC-Ukraine.
