I am currently reading my last one. Waiting for the new Sherratt/Bryndza/Marsons books to come out. Valiantly trying to stay away otherwise so as to get to other books on my forever list. I think 4 and 6 are awesome very manageable numbers!!

With the new addition of All The Wicked Girls, that puts me at 6. I'm actually reading a library book for the first time in long while 🤗

I have been pending for a month on netgalley but it was a read now on Edelweiss. You might still be able to download it from EW

Great Sean!Got approved for The Stolen Marriage
Yay!Thank You Christine for letting me know it is on Netgalley.
I am seeing so many good books that I normally would read. So I am debating on whether to go the NG and see what they have to offer and maybe just maybe hit that green button.

Now I don't feel bad I thought it was just me.
Maureen wrote: "What's the scoop on being on a wish list? Any chance of actually getting a book from the list?"My wish was granted several times.
Christine count them 2, 2 books left on my shelf to read. I never thought it would happen. Now since my shelf is nearly empty I will be very careful what I read.

Thank you.

It was a constant 22 for a long time. I would read a couple do the reviews take off and more would arrive. I will never get to the 800 or so books I still have to read. I never was as bad as Sean lol.
Just got approved for
The Short DropSo I decided to request the 2nd and 3rd books too :o

[book:Poisonfeathe..."I read the first two books in the series, and loved them. will have to check out Cold Harbor. Thanks. Sue
I've got 16 NG books left on my shelf to read and review. I'm getting there 📚. I'm not going to request anything else until I have my shelf down to zero. It is hard when I read about the books everyone has been approved for. But I'm sticking to my guns.
Diane S ☔ wrote: "Approved for Darkness at the Edge of Town

Lynn wrote: "I've got 16 NG books left on my shelf to read and review. I'm getting there 📚. I'm not going to request anything else until I have my shelf down to zero. It is hard when I read about the books ever..."That is exactly what I did and how I felt. I have 1 left on my shelf (Dean Koontz) then I be free like Christine. I am really bummed that I didn't get approved for Harlan Coben book.
I have a half way written review and a half way read book hanging over my head, Neither typical of my behavior. The problem with the review is that it took the author twenty years to research and write this book. I am intimidated by that fact.
I have tons to read, but doesn't stress me out. They are only books after all, if I don't get to them, then I don't. I do my best, though.
I guess my thing is that there are so many superb books that I can't wait to read, especially series books, that I have not been able to get to because of my obligation reads. Like Cork o'Connor and Michael Connolly books. And #2 books from a bunch of series I have discovered. I LOVE Net Galley and R4R books as they often lead to "lasting relationships" with new authors (e.g. HN Wake, LE Fraser, Michael Wood, Robert Bryndza), but man, I want some time to pursue my loves, both new and old!
I do understand that viewpoint, Christine. I have made a concerted effort to fit more of the books I own into my reading plans, as well as more non fiction. I have been somewhat successful, but will keep plugging away, eventually I'll get there, maybe. Lol
The new Robert Bryndza is out for request. Cold Blood. Have put in my request, love this series. I remember what Janet told me about reviews, publishers are always looking to promote their books so read, enjoy and review when you can. Everything has its own time and then again and again.
Tracy wrote: "The new Robert Bryndza is out for request. Cold Blood. Have put in my request, love this series. I remember what Janet told me about reviews, publishers are always looking to promote their books so..."Tracy, thanks for the heads up!
