NetGalley Books ... Just Had Approved
A Read Now Roses of May by Dot Hutchison not that I needed to add to my Netgalley list but I couldn't pass it up 😏.
Ah I was declined to that one a while ago. They told me they had reached their quota of copies to give out!!
Adrian wrote: "Did you not get declined for it Jan?"I might have! I got it through Maxine tho, so go through her. It is a must read!!
Look Behind You by Roy Johansen.I don't mean the Johansen book, but will I be sent to NetGalley hell if I don't read and review a book I've received? I didn't pay close enough attention and evidently it is an older book being released on Kindle for free.

I believe I was approved for that book last week. Let me check. Yep last week. Also waiting on a

Rita wrote: "I got interested in NetGalley when I saw that everyone was getting all these free books so I applied and was approved but then one of my friends got honest about the pressure and I withdrew. I'm 66..."There's no pressure with Net Galley just ask Sean. I'm sure he has more than 1 book on his shelf along with a lot of other people myself included.

I am pretty much worn out from serial killer books. I did read one recently that was not bad dawn girl the follow book Watson girl was not as good
Darn, Rich! I really liked Dawn Girl and was hoping The Watson Girl would be just as good. I have it on my kindle.
Rita wrote: "I got interested in NetGalley when I saw that everyone was getting all these free books so I applied and was approved but then one of my friends got honest about the pressure and I withdrew. I'm 66..."Rita, keep your list small, two to three. That's what I try to do and it's minimal if any pressure. On the other hand, I'm sure you have a ton of gems on that bookshelf of yours!!

I am trying to stay away from it and catch up on my other reading. I do not pass the books that are offered to me for reviews from the site or the books that I wished for.
Christine wrote: "What do you mean you "do not pass" them, Chris?"I have received emails from NG from the publishers asking me to review books which I do. So far they have been a genre that I do read. I only have 6 books on shelf thank god which is down from 18. Actually I am waiting on a book in the mail from a publisher.

Ohhhh how did you get them to send you an actual book? So much of what I read is digital and I miss having the weight of a book in my hands and turning actual pages!
Janet wrote: "Great isn't it, Sue?! I have it too. 🙂"Yes, Janet. I am looking forward to reading this book!

If it's just the one book you should be ok.
I would go ahead and fill out the feedback section for the book letting the publisher know the situation (in the message to the publisher section) just to be on the safe side.
Approved for Secrets Of The Dead(Robyn Carter book 2) by Carol Wyer. Loved the first one so really looking forward to reading this.

Thanks Adrian, I read Little Girl Lost. Thanks for the update.
I got approved for LIST OF 10: The True Story of Serial Killer Joseph Naso and The Big Heist: The Real Story of the Lufthansa Heist, the Mafia, and Murder. I read mostly true crime :) but I also like thrillers and mysteries.
