I too have not had them disappear. If not downloaded in time, the book could be archived and no longer available on NG, but it should still be on your shelf. And the archive date varies via publisher. Most times it's 60 days from the publish date, but I have a few on my shelf currently where it hasn't been set yet. Hope this helps!

Make sure you download the book and if you don't see it search your kindle because it can be in your cloud or check your document folder.

Maureen, something is clearly wrong. I think you need to go to the NG help button and see if you can contact them directly. That has never happened to me.

Me too, Maureen. Found out some have a time limit for how long they are available after you download. One book I didn't get to in 2 weeks after I downloaded & it disappeared. On Edelweiss they clearly state how long the book is available but I didn't see any mention of it on NG in regards to that book.

Not sure if you've found it on NG yet, but just in case....in the 'your shelf' tab, look under the Archive column for when the book is no longer accessible to download.

Thanks, Jan. The book I was referring to was from a couple of years ago & I can't remember all the details but was disappointed as I really wanted to read it! That'll teach me to get my act together ;)

I bought it!! Was only 99p so thought what the heck! Don't tend to request the cheaper books often. Feel guilty enough when books cost less than one pound!! Haven't read in days, not had time and now need my mojo back. And I'm still buying books!!

I saw Bookouture post on twitter this morning that they would be putting a book up on NetGalley at 4.45pm and it was one we were all waiting on so I guessed it was this. Put a reminder on my phone about it! Was delighted to get a quick approval too.
