This is true, it's because of this group I got into NetGalley for another time. I had tried few years back and couldn't even get in the door. Now I can't stay off of there. But I'm trying to discipline myself until October no more requests. I have 35 on my shelf and most of them have been archived already. :(

I need to live 65 more years, just to catch up with my shelved books and my Kindle books!!!!
I will happily say, if it had not been for this geoup, I would never have ventured out of my comfort zone to read alternate authors.
I love our group and the "family" it makes!!!!

I felt the same way. I am reading books by authors that I would never look at while walking through the bookstore.

Tracy Quarrell | 369 comments Hope you get it Di. Just been approved for All fall Down by Tom Bale, thanks for heads up. I am new to NetGalley.

message 2632: by Megalion (new)

Megalion I echo the sentiments. I rarely read authors I like anymore unless they've got a new book coming out.

Still have some gaps where I've not read all of back catalogs for each.

Wouldn't trade it at all.

NG has been quiet for me. Only two approvals over past couple days.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch The Lion in the Living Room How House Cats Tamed Us and Took Over the World by Abigail Tucker

message 2633: by [deleted user] (new)

Magalion, I am so jealous that you got approved for Lion in the Living Room. I wanted that one sooo bad.

My shelf is nearly clear and so would love some more recommends. I'm a thriller kind of guy but willing to give anything a go.

Thanks in advance.
