NetGalley Books ... Just Had Approved
Megalion: I think DeLillo can go either way with readers. Either he's lyrical or he talks too much. It was beautiful and thoughtful, but all inner dialog, which doesn't mean nothing happens, it's just that you see it through the eyes of the narrator. And he does have some quirky things going on. ;)

Holy Cow, Bookouture approved me in 2 minutes, I kid you not, forRobert Bryndza.
. The Night StalkerI am so excited!!!
I am determined to clear some books with this long weekend. Not made to 80% yet but keep getting so close lol. Of course if they'd just stop putting good books on ...

Really enjoyed it so hope you can get it. After reading the short last month I knew it would be a good one and I wasn't disappointed at all.
Back down to eight to read now. Or it could still be 9. I'm confused lol
Jenna wrote: "Got The Night Stalker by Robert Bryndza. Better get my reading head on. 9 to catch up with now lol"Me too. Thanks Christine for picking a book that is right up my alley.

Yay Christine! I was just approved for this one too. I still haven't read the first one!
I know, Megalion! Bookouture OK'ed me for After the Lie by Kerry Fisher at 7:50 AM UK time this Sunday morning. Must be somebody's 24/7 job! I'm happy to have yet another Bookouture book to read.

Was just approved for this one, too, Christine. They hold you in the highest regard at Bookouture! Thanks for all your book recommendations from them. You are always spot on!
Thanks, Linda. I can't wait to get to these. My new strategy is to only request books that I already know I really want to read. Not taking a lot of chances.

There's always a chance of getting a dud once in a while, but some individuals request a book they know they have no interest in and then give it a bad review. Not fair to author. I've lessened my requests and, as you've mentioned, read the ones that I'll go into with much enthusiasm. Works for me and works for the author! Ha!
Wow, I really hope they are far and few in between. Even if I accidently notice poor reviews in advance, I start out with best intentions to LIKE the book.
I wimped out on:Stalk Me
(different cover on the new release)It was too creepy. Well-written, I just couldn't handle it. :-|
Had to apologize to the publisher at Net Galley.
ALL OF YOU, do yourself a favor and request The Huntingfield PaintressI seriously just readgasmed. Wrote the review immediately after. Still feel the endorphins.

Thanks Megalion, have just been and requested it *:D
I just got approved for my first ever Netgalley request:
I might save it as a guaranteed good read for my holiday in just over a week's time.
