Yeah, Pia, it does. Hopefully it is.

Yes Wendy do join in. Christine is the first to complete I think.

Only a matter of time, Christine. I haven't gone for it. My new rule is not to go for every new book out there. Want to read some older stuff too. I'm being good! :)

Sue (coccotoro) | 2087 comments Christine wrote: "Lucky Vera. We can't get it in the US."

I have it to read Christine. I hope they post it for you guys!

message 1718: by Pia (new)

Pia | 40 comments I got The Missing Hours by Emma Kavanagh and I live in Mexico... so maybe you can ask for it Christine?

I didn't think they'd approve me as UK publishers are quite strict about where you live, but guess I was lucky this time

message 1719: by Christine (new)

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments I remember trying to get her first book, Falling/After We Fall last year. No go on Net Galley. Finally found it at bookdepository.com. Took forever to be released in US.

I hear you, Janet. My new rule is that I really really have to want to read it to request it (or it's a read for review request that happens to be on Net Galley). That's how I feel about Kavanagh's books as I simply loved After We Fall.

I've got an email with some widgets earlier of books I could have from a publisher. Probably went out to loads of people. And author Clare Donoghue posted a widget of her latest release, Trust No One, which I did download. I enjoyed her previous titles and like the protagonists.

I've just been perusing my Kindle cloud, oh god, I've got books I've completely forgotten about!! :-\

message 1722: by Christine (new)

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments I have LOADS of books I have forgotten about, Janet. It's just ridiculous!!!

What's weird Christine, is that I was in a bookshop earlier today and seeing books that I know I've got and have had them FOR AGES!! Just not getting round to reading enough..... Arrgghhhhhhhhh

message 1724: by Christine (last edited Feb 05, 2016 04:09PM) (new)

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments I try to tell myself that having too many wonderful choices is much better than wondering where my next good read is coming from. But then it's hard to think I will never be able to read the majority of them.

Janet | 5303 comments Mod
Yeah, true enough. I guess it's nice to have one's own library! :)

What would NG do without this group. I like potato chips but like peanuts even more.

message 1746: by Christine (new)
