Well, you better keep moving in that direction, mister!!!

I lost mine as well D: I'm determined to get it back, though.

I love finding new authors like that.

Yep I just found a new series that I absolutely love, and hadn't heard of either the author or the series before! NetGalley is amazing in so many ways ^_^

I really really liked The Truth and Other Lies, very good psychological thriller, very clever and good writing
I can't get into Karin Slaughter's Pretty Girls which has really surprised me. The first chapter was good. Second bored me rigid and now it's just not holding my attention. I read Blindsighted which I really enjoyed and intend to read the rest of the Grant County series. In fact I remember racing through it. But this is just not happening for me. I feel bad :((

She's a really good author, my favorite in the Police Procedural genre. Have read her 4 book series on Kate Gillespie, the first book in the Sidney Fitzpatrick series, really liked the Last Good Place and check out Carolyn Weston's books.

Oh dear! I have this one on my list for this month Janet.....are you going to persevere with it or jettison it?

Lynn, I love being an addict. I'm not looking for any cure. If you find one, keep away from me!

"Jettison." Much cooler word than "ditch."

Will do Christine I only need the cure for a little while to catch up on the books i have i keep wanting more though lol

And me...no way do I ever want to be 'cured'.
Thank you Christine....I love words *:D
No hope for Lynn either....I manage a day or two a way from NG then become anxious about what I might be missing out on...I tremor, twitch, sleepwalk, lol!
Janet, Pretty Girls was a disappointment for me. OK but definitely not as good as her others.
I gave up on the book last night. It just wasn't grabbing me and I don't have the time or patience to persevere. :( Sad times.
I'm sure I will continue to love the Grant County series. Looking forward to reading more of those.

Yes definitely Janet, I would strongly recommend to continue with the Grant County series as they are Slaughters best work in my opinion. :))

I have invited Robin Burcell to the group, is a member now and hopefully doing a Readalong with this book in February 2016.
I really enjoyed the book, 4 stars, added a review on the book.
Question, do you remember "The Streets Of San Fransisco"
Well this story is a new version of the two main characters, Michael Douglas and Karl Malden
Enjoy. Robin Burcell was a SF PD detective for nearly 30 years!

How fabulous ^_^ I can't wait to read it then. I admit the story looks totally gripping so I'm really glad I got granted it :3 I've never even heard of "The Streets of San Francisco". Not sure it even showed over here, only the first two seasons have been released in UK format, not all 4. Weird lol.
Yes Janet I have. I loved them all. :)

I'm trying to send my first review on NetGalley. I published it on Amazon and Goodreads, but there is only the option to post one link?
Or should I just post review and follow that with the links?
Thanks!

I just post my review on Goodreads first, and then copy and paste the full review into the top portion review description on Netgalley. I then post the link for Goodreads, and go ahead and just post my review on Amazon.
FYI
Sue
You can always provide the confirmed link for Amazon, under notes or comments to the publisher.
