I thought I had a lot with 18. You make me feel so much better.
Plus I have 3 from First To Read and one from Blogging for books.

Mochaspresso | 19 comments I get turned down a lot. I figure that it's because my record for reading the ones that I have in a timely enough manner is not particularly good. :(

Mochaspresso | 19 comments 70 books? When you all say that you have x number of books on netgalley, is that number of books on your shelf WAITING TO BE READ or the number of books you've requested, been approved for and read?

Here I am with only 6 unfinished books and I am worrying that I won't finish them before they're due to be archived. I can't imagine having 70.

You don't have to review them before they are archived, Mochaspresso, you just need to download them before then or they disappear.

I didn't know that!! I thought that I had to read and review them before their archive date. I also thought that if I didn't do that, they wouldn't approve me for new books. So, I wasn't requesting that many and several of the ones that I did request, I was declined for. I assumed that it was because I had too many outstanding and wasn't reading them fast enough.

What a relief. I was really feeling bad over it. Anyway, I just got approved for...

The Sister Pact by Stacie Ramey

message 930: by Christine (new)

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments Congrats, Mochaspresso!! You will be fine! It's always nice if you can read and review by the date the book is released, but even if you miss that, it's not super critical.

Christine,
Both can be read as a standalone; however, you will want to read the two of them, to get learn more about the characters.I would suggest you read the books in sequence.
