Me which is fine because I got approved for 3 or 4 in one shot.

Excited to get to sit down and get reading."I don't feel bad because I got approved for the same book. It's not a bad read.
Was unfortunately declined for
. Not really surprised, although wish the publisher actually listed what they are looking for. I have a feeling that it's just such a popular series/author that maybe they are very picky about who they choose to give it out to. I don't have a blog or review hundreds of books per year, so am usually surprised to be approved for anything - haha.

One of my favourite authors!"
Congratulations, Kim. Good get! There is a giveaway of 50 copies going on for it now.

I just checked and I have a request that has been pending since April. What do we do with these ignored requests? Is there a way to delete them?

It's through Penguin and anyone can join. You earn points for logging in, you can request early galley copies and if you have enough points you can guarantee your copy. You also earn points when you download your galley, and when you add your review. http://www.firsttoread.com/

It's terrific! I've read a few really good books I got through them.
Christine wrote: "Wow, thank you, Lorrea."No problem. It's a great program and it's a great way to get new books. They send a notice at least once a month about new books on offer. In June there were two offers for books. I love it and can't wait to get the email each month when new books are available.

YEAH!! Make it a point to go to the site at least once a week, if not everyday. They give you 5 points just for logging in, EVERY TIME!! It's a good way to rack up points so that for the next round of offers(around the middle of the month) you may have enough points to guarantee a copy of a new release.
Janet wrote: "I considered going for that one because I have the first but.... so many to read."Yeah, me too. Just figured if I read one or two Net Galley books per month I might keep up with some of the newer books. I have so many books on my Kindle, almost 3,000. I figured I should be reading some of them.
Janet wrote: "Omg, Lynn!!! When are you going to read 3,000 books?!! You download addict!!! :-D"Dang and I thought I had a lot of books downloaded on my readers but you have me beat.
