Challenges and BOTM for 2023

2023 is almost upon us, so we had better get planning……

For 2023, we are proposing 3 challenges:
- Romance Across the Ages
- Mad About Series Challenge
- HRBC Bingo

The number of participants for the Mountain Climbing Challenge has been dropping each quarter, with only 5 participants for Q4 2023. So the proposal is to have the Bingo challenge instead. This will be posted before the end of 2022.

The BOTM (x3) will continue, however we will be dropping the novella option. Very few members contribute to the discussions for novellas. If someone wants to nominate a novella for the BOTM – we will note the number of pages for the book on the voting form. So that if someone is voting they know that it is for a shorter book.

The 2023 challenges will likely be posted in the next week or so. Joanna, Sandra and myself will split these between ourselves, but due to other commitments this may not be straight away. Thanks for your patience.

This is the main club I am active in and so appreciate the time and effort that the mods put in. I am toying with joining the Bingo challenge and vaguely remember reading about it.
