I think I’ll actually be able to get in on this BOTM! I haven’t read this one yet, but I’ve really enjoyed Heather Dixon Wallwork’s other books (Entwined and Illusionarium.)

I just finished it!! It’s snowing outside right now where I live, so the perfect setting. 😛 But anyways, The Enchanted Sonata was amazing!!

Oh cool! What was one thing you really liked about the book?

I really liked the way that music was incorporated throughout the book! I also liked the world- it definitely felt like a place I’d love to go visit, although probably not during a rat invasion.

I love great world building. And now I’m curious about the book haha. Rat infestation 🤔

I admire the author and I liked the sample. And I love The Nutcracker--spent several years as PR director for the Minnesota Dance Theater, and watched scores of hours of rehearsals for their unique take on the story (hint: the Mouse King is not slain!).
I wish I had time to read the whole book right now.
