Warner vs Adam (powers)

So I’m currently reading Restore Me. No spoilers please! And I was thinking, if Adam can “turn off” powers, and Warner can “borrow” powers…could Warner borrow Adam’s power to turn of Adam’s power?! Or would the act of turning off Adam’s power stop Warner’s power since there’s nothing to control? Idk if this is addressed later in the book, but just a though I had.
