I'm going to hype a book that I absolutely love and have read a few times. It's historical mystery set in early 1900s San Francisco. I love how the author fits in the random bits of history. And the main characters are a lot of fun.
From the Ashes by Sabrina Flynn
King of Realms by Britt Asher; a new author from Minnesota. I enjoyed this middle grade fantasy with a quest through the many realms with their imaginative creatures.
i read 'rat bohemia' by sarah schulman a few months back, didn't even realize it only had 100 or so reviews. not my favorite read of the year but at i'm glad that it counted toward part of the challenge!
I read The Two Doctors Górski. A novella offering a new take on dark academia by Isaac Fellman. This was a great find!
I'm going to read this one for the "Author local to you" task, but it would also work for this one if anyone is looking for another recommendation. Also happens to be a debut novel if anyone needs that for a previous or other challengs. Blood Rising: Home

Darn, I'm reading Can't Spell Treason Without Tea right now, so I got exci..."
The prompt says "reviews" rather than ratings, thought, right? And last I looked, it was still a little below 500 on reviews.
I might read this one too; it looks fun.
