It sounds like you'd make a perfect mod! One quick question... could you keep the group running if I wasn't around? I'm quite busy with school and family, and I do need to know of you are able to maintain a safe community of I'm not here for an extended period of time (2-3 weeks)

Thank you for your application! I did have a question about your application! You said you'd be able to invite your friends to the group and teach others about Heartstopper! I love that idea! But being a Mod doesn't control whether or not you can invite people and teach them about Heartstopper! Is there another reason why you'd like to become a Mod?

i feel like i can bring good to the group and accept people with open arms. i want to teach people about writing and about the LGBTQIA+ community.

im good at helping people and i accept them with open arms. i’m not discriminative and i love everyone.
i can be active almost everyday or 3-4 times a week.
i want to teach people and help them feel like they belong.

Why would you like to be a mod?:I feel like since im really passionate about heartstopper, i can keep the group under control (like no slurs abt harry, ben etc) and it can still be passionate, and i can also keep the group active, since im online on goodreads almost everyday, and im on the heartstopper discord server which is similar to this and the rules are pretty much the same, so i can definitely help the group!! <3

A few things,
You seem like an amazing addition to our team! I was wondering 1) what's the discord for Heartstopper and is it open to anyone?🫣 2) It seems we have a lot of people saying they'll be online, but never want to chat or hang around. A part of being a Mod is being here to have fun and bring life back to the group. I understand we've been struggling with that a lot lately, so I know it's not going to be immediate, but I'm hoping Mods will start up activities and fun chats with the people to get more people here and online!

If this seems like something you can do (Provide a friendly and open embrace to others in the group) Please let me know and we can discuss about moving further with getting you to become a Mod!!!!

there are two servers, ones the official server and the others the fan server!! here are the links: https://discord.gg/AHUbgXmR and https://discord.gg/qPjvdm4C the official server has a countdown for season 3, alice oseman news, and basically the osemanverse and the mods there and ppl are super nice in both of the servers. The fan server is mostly about Heartstopper, and they both have news about it and a few days ago, they watched the first few episodes of heartstopper on the official server. and its open to anyone, if you search it up itll come!! and im online everyday so i can keep the group active!!

will you be able to participate in all group discussions to keep energy up and other members active?
will you be able to help anyone when they have questions about a topic or just questions in general?
what will you be able bring to the group that other people might not have or might not be able to do?

I’ll be able to do those things!! I also think i can keep the group active by talking in it and asking questions, like responding to people by asking them about their favorite characters, volume episodes etc. but i think I can help keep the group active mainly

I forgot to add i also think i can be a mod because i could help an accepting LGBTQA+ community to support members and basically be someone you can trust to talk to about anything and try to help the server to do that too (the rest of my comment didnt go through earlier for some reason)
