How do you find Mao Tse-Tung's quotations? I wanted to read them out of curiosity. I don't think they aged well
Hi Darya. I am reading the quotations of the little Red Book so that I can understand the disaster that was the Chinese Revolution. Another Goodreads friend Larry provided me with a link to an article I will look for within next 24 hours. I am awake so late that it is almost early. Off to bed I go.
Congratulations. I'm glad you like Ted Chiang. My partner, John, turned me onto him. John and I were both in high tech (Chiang was a technical writer as I was) and we like speculative fiction if it's intelligent. Also, Chiang is a big fan of Borges and it seems pays homage to Borges a lot.
Thanks Kathleen! And now I am done. I will continue with some group read or two each month so that I can continue to read and visit. . . .Reading on.
Wow! You made a quick job of your Bingo this year and made it look easy! Congratulations, Cynda, and it's fun to see how much you enjoyed it :)
July felt like a reading wonder month with it's extreme heat which kept me mostly mostly inside reading. Even better, I read quite a few of these books with reading friends here and at other GR groups. Reading friends make all the difference 🍎🍏🍎
Thank you Wobbley, Lynn, Janelle. I will still read maybe maybe two group selections each month. So I will here to see your bingo journeys too :-)

Two group selections a month is also the amount I seem to read.

Congratulations, Cynda! I was just thinking how the only thing I want to do in this heat is sit very quiet and read. Looks like you made it work for you--well done!
Yes Kathleen it did work for me. Now a local meteorologist says particularly cold winter may come. I know what to do :-)
