Amber | 37 comments Does anyone know if there is going to be a challenge this year? It seems weird that we've heard literally nothing about it yet 😬

Ariel | 38 comments Looks like the challenge for 2022 was posted on the website on December 7th so I assume we'll be hearing about it any day now.

Thanks!

message 8: by Alex (new)

Alex (papercraftalex) I'm really disappointed that one of the prompts is listening to an audiobook, it's like they forgot about deaf readers

IDEL (deldc) | 1 comments does anybody know when they usually update the post with links to book recommendations for each task? like what they did for the 2021 list

message 10: by Bonnie G. (new)

Bonnie G. (narshkite) | 1413 comments It says in the challenge they will start doing lists one per day in January.

Tricia (books2hooks) | 80 comments Loving the webcomic prompt! But what's a social horror? I'm not familiar with that term.

message 13: by Justin (new)

Justin (jekis) | 3 comments Looks like I will have to skip a few tasks this year. Three tasks require graphic novels or comics. Those aren't usable by blind readers like myself. The task about choosing a book based on the cover will be tricky. Maybe I can get someone with vision to describe some covers to me until I find something.

you can decide based on only the title (part of the cover!) I'm sorry some of these challenges aren't accessible, that's so disappointing from BookRiot! Someone on a different thread also mentioned that as a deaf reader the audiobook challenge would have to be skipped.
