I loved reading this book as a child.
It sets out the controversial gender roles of a woman and destroys the common patriarchy role of a princess. Princess Smartypants is not the average princess you see in fairy tales, but she is an independent girl that oversees her own decisions. This book has a great sense of humour and it great for kids to read books that do not include the common princess.
