FAQ
Question: For *insert prompt here*, can I use *insert book here*?
Answer: The only people you need to convince are your teammates. I only attempt to enforce fairness when there's a prize attached. This is a prize-free and judgement-free readathon. Make yourself happy. The reading police will never know :)

Sophia wrote: "This may be silly but there's no rule against two people on the same team reading the same book, right? I realize we'd have to log it for different prompts for the purposes of the read-a-thon"
2 people can read the same book as long as they use it for different prompts.

Alicia wrote: "Katherine, since we need at least 100 pages for it to count and 1 minute = 1 page, I’d say 100 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes). So you should be good"
Yes, I agree, 100 minutes left works.

No, we will keep the readathon the Sunday - Sunday length we pre-determined. I appreciate that you all love the readathons, but I don't want to change the length mid-thon.

That was my feeling also, since we already started. We will keep this in mind for future readathons, good to know how much people enjoy them.

Other readathons have happened to fall on three-day weekends (at least for Americans). Other than that, I think we have historically done Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun.

I literally did not think yall would finish the challenge even once. Like I didn't think any group would get close. I thought to myself, "is this too hard? is this demoralizing?" And yet here we are.
You can add another 'book read' and 'by member' column to the prompts page; it won't break it. The color-coding won't apply to your second round, but that's just a visual aid anyway.
Lord help me the next time I underestimate your combined reading power lol

Start: December 11, whenever you get up
End: December 18, whenever you go to bed

A link to the list of teams and their members will appear later
Rules:
1. A book can only be used to satisfy one prompt, unless two people on the team both read it.
2. As per usual in our readathons, books need to be at least 100 pages in length, with the exception of graphic novels/picture books which must be at least 200 pages.
3. Books must be completed by 12/18. Books started before 12/11 may be used if they have more than 100 pages left.
Wildcards:
For every 5000 pages read or minutes listened to as a team, one wildcard is generated. Stuck on a particular prompt? Stick a wildcard on it and call it done. Audiobooks are converted at a rate of 1 minute = 1 page.
