Hello, books must have a storyline or universe or characters in common to be a series. "Universe" means the setting. Some of the characters could encounter each other, or, some of the characters are the same in each book. A shared theme is not a series by Goodreads definition. Can you please tell us how this series meets the definition of a series by Goodreads standards?Also, I saw a post you made not too long ago asking if books could be part of two series at the same time, but I can't find it anymore. To answer your question, yes they can if certain criteria is met. I notice Corpse Walker #2's description reads "Book 7 in The Infernal Artifacts Collection". Can you clarify this please? :)
No one was answering or saying anything on my other post so I tried to simplify it because I understand how my books are, might be relatively confusing and I wasn't sure if Goodreads would be able to accommodate the grouping.They're both technically serieses but to put it simply, it's like how the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, but in books. There is an overarching plot that will span over the entire set that is called 'The Infernal Artifacts Collection' - which is a timeline order / also the order the books are being released. However, each smaller series within it can also be read independently as serieses on their own. Similarly like how you can watch all of the Iron Man movies and still understand the plot without needing to have seen Thor or Doctor Strange, etc. But would need to if you wanted to understand the Avengers plotline.
So all of the Corpse Walker books (and all of the other books and their sequels) do have their own connecting story that can be read independently from all of the other books that will be in The Infernal Artifacts. But their stories are smaller parts in a bigger storyline.
Hopefully that clears it up.
So part of the issue too is that they're different numbering. Corpse Walker 1 is book 1 in the Corpse Walker series and in The Infernal Artifacts but Corpse Walker 2 is 2 in the Corpse Walker series but 7 in The Infernal Artifacts. So they're also not the same order numbers lol

Yes all of them will be similar to Corpse Walker in how I've planned it. They'll all have their own series/story within The Infernal Artifacts. I wasn't sure if a series could be created yet with only one book. The only one that won't qualify is #6.Dioscuri series - book 1
