I finally took the plunge after nearly 30 years of writing in private. “The Real Me Because of You” (a steamy closed door Ed rom-com) was officially published last month.
As a teacher, my promotion approach was nonexistent since I couldn’t afford ARC’s and paid promotions & reviews on social media. However, I made a deal with my daughter and one of my students that if they won’t stress about college acceptance, I’ll make a real effort in promoting my debut novel. So here we are. MJ Apple is a pen name. The writer and her husband have two teenage children and two puppies and raised them in various part of the US, most recently in the South. She currently teaches high school math and officiates swim meets. She advocates her children and students to embrace their talented passions of performing and visual arts and continuing to grow in their faith.
