madrano | 23685 comments I really liked Ozeki's novel. Previously i read her My Year of Meats, which was quite different from Tale, which i preferred. Thanks for filling us in, Andrew. I hope December is as rewarding for you, reading-wise.

Andrew Dooley | 8 comments I really enjoyed A Tale for its character work - Nao stands out to me as one of my favorite characters in recent memory! But I’ve heard most of Ozeki’s stuff is better, so I’ll definitely have to try My Year in Meats. Am also interested in her newest, The Book of Form and Emptiness, which just sounds fascinating!

December is wrapping up nicely, I hope the month has treated you well :)

Thanks for the reading wishes, Andrew. I was wondering about The Book of Form and Emptiness, which i saw when i linked to My Year of Meats earlier. I'll have to find time for that one, too.
