Hi all. I just wanted to let you know that I will be away tomorrow. We changed our plans from Sunday to Saturday because of the forecast - didn't want to come home late and have to shovel snow to get the car off the street. 🙄I will be posting the next date from my phone. I will not be available to answer questions or check for the Speed Dating Rose.
There are a couple of outstanding corrections. I'm not sure if they would affect the rose tallies, but I won't be posting those until Sunday either way.

Quick ? on how to notate a book for the challenge - I read
However the book was origionally published as
Both meet the 300 and over page req and both are MPG Rom
Do I note the Boss the Billionaire as the read book, but use the Crossing the Line page count?
The blurb on Boss only states that the book was previously published under a different title. No mention of rework or additional writing.
The page counts are very similar 302 vs 304

You will need to use the Crossing the Line page count (302). It does not matter which edition you link to in your completion post.
Question about MPG shelves with the new book page.... can you click the "more" to expand from the 4 or 5 to the 6 or more Genres? As long as you don't click see all (which opens up all shelves)? For example...Omega's Brew has this listed...

Yes, you can click on 'more', but not on 'show all'. I've gone back and forth with this, but I've I landed on allowing 'more'.

So the 'more' simply takes us to the equivalent if there were a heap of tags that qualified for MPG. That's the way I was looking at it, anyway. 🙂

To qualify, the cover needs to be primarily red. Include the qualifying cover in your completion post. You can use any edition's cover to qualify. If using TinEye (I have a love/hate relationship with that site), it needs to be over 50% read and make sure you are including the background. If in doubt, please ask.

In the Scavenger Hunt thread, I will only be listing the claims that are complete and correct. The first complete and correct post for any book will claim it. If the book doesn't qualify, I will still comment stating so. Follow the dots here - if the book is listed, all is good. If the book isn't listed, but I didn't comment, something is wrong/missing in your completion post - and the book can be claimed by another participant.

I'll admit I find colour categories difficult as the boundaries between red and pink / purple / orange are so subjective. TinEye doesn't always help with the way they name colours.

I will allow a range - but if it is pink or orange rather than red it won't work.
You are all free to ask about specific covers if you are unsure.

Granted I was only looking at the thumbnails, but it was enough for me to say that the list alone is not going to qualify your books. It would be a good starting point to look for books though.

Another option for TinEye that's hopefully a bit more streamlined...use this link: https://labs.tineye.com/color/
In a separate browser window go to the main book page of the edition you want to check and just click on the cover photo and drag it onto the TinEye page, then de-select the "Exclude background color from extracted colors" checkbox. This will give you the correct color breakdown, including the background.

There are lots of Kindle editions dated earlier than Kindles actually existed. I believe they may use those dates when there are no changes made to the edition? 🤷🏻♀️ I have posted multiple times what I will accept as a correct page count.
