Yes, I will allow Healers if the book is MPG Fantasy. I will edit to include.
Paramedics are included in the task description.

Welp. I obviously need to learn to read instructions better 😂. Thanks Kat!

I have posted Rose Tallies for all the teams. Please let me know if it disagrees with your tracking. I am running on empty a lot these days and not slowing down for several more days, so errors would not surprise me!
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "Hard to tell as to page turner as winner didn't have a tracking post where the pages were added up."Your team was second on page count by several thousand pages, but up on third by several hundred. If it were really close I would have I would have confirmed with the captains as I have in the past.

Thanks for the info, I know of the teams that tallied in tracking post we were first. But I wasn't going to check every post and tally for the team that wasn't tracking.
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "for Acetaminophen -- physical therapists?"Sorry, came in at the same time I posted so I missed it. Thanks for pointing that out.
Physical therapists are medical providers.
Heather wrote: "Kat - for Antagonist how do you feel about a 'love-hate-relationship' tag?"In context, that would work. It would get scrutinized like a combo tag though.
Hey, Kat, I found a book for the SHR but there are only 4 editions and none of them show a page count. When I go to Amazon it has a page count so can I add that link for my confirmation?
Vicki wrote: "Hey, Kat, I found a book for the SHR but there are only 4 editions and none of them show a page count. When I go to Amazon it has a page count so can I add that link for my confirmation?"Yes, just include a link to the Amazon page for the book.

Sherri wrote: "Hi MKat - Team 6 - Laughing Out Cloud would like to claim the Speed Dating Rose."Not quite yet!
If Starstruck's post isn't correct, then I'd like to claim the speed dating rose with my updated post for Team 6
MountainKat wrote: "Congrats to Team 6: Laughing Out Cloud for winning the Speed Dating Rose for Date 2!Finally! 😂"
This was such a wild ride!
Just wanted to let you all know I am away all day tomorrow, so I won't be checking books or available to answer questions. Please take screenshots if your book's average rating might not qualify when I am available again later Tuesday!!
Late this afternoon and early this evening, Goodread search functions have been intermittenly unavailable, while most other Goodreads page finctions seem to be working.
Date 3 - C - Tasks: Breakdown of the qualifications for possible tasks for Date 3.Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.
Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the book details or cover - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!
You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.
C is for ??? - ???
To be revealed when the date begins.
C is for Cage - Read a book featuring shifters.
To qualify, your book needs to include in the title, precis, list or tags 'shapeshifter', 'shifter', or 'were-something'.
C is for Celestial - Read a book with the night sky on the cover.
You can use any edition’s cover to qualify for this task. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts. If in doubt, please ask.
C is for Centimeter - Read a book set outside the US.
To qualify, your book needs to be set outside of the US. Qualification can be from the book details on the main book page (country or city within qualifying country), precis, title, or lists. Lists need to be specific to the qualifying countries/continents or will be examined similar to combo tags.
HI Kat - for C is for Centimeter - can part of the book be set in the US and the rest outside (in another country) etc?
Starstruck wrote: "Does off-world or an alt-earth count for outside of the USA?"No, it has to be on earth to qualify for Centimeter. It can be a fantasy location as long as it is clearly not a fantasy location inside the US.
Jane (PS) wrote: "HI Kat - for C is for Centimeter - can part of the book be set in the US and the rest outside (in another country) etc?"Yes, as long as enough of the book is set outside the US for it to be tagged, shelved or included in the book details it works.
MKat for cage. Dragon are generally able to shift form but sometimes people don't tag them as shifter. Selkies are by definition humans that shift into seals. And a native american book might refer to them by the term skinwalkers. Are any of these acceptable terms?
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "MKat for cage. Dragon are generally able to shift form but sometimes people don't tag them as shifter. Congrats to this who earned the special roses for Date 2!Speed Dating Rose - Team 6: Laughing Out Cloud

OK, a little under 3 hours before the next date begins! Just a few reminders...🎅🏻 This is the Romantic Getaway Date - you will have until January 6th to complete books for this date! Please don't stress about reading over the holidays!
🎅🏻 Serial Dating Roses and Scavenger Hunt Roses will be limited to 10 for this date.
🎅🏻 I have family already here and am in the midst of visiting and baking! I will be slow to check books and answer questions through the 27th.
🎅🏻 The Speed Dating Rose is not won until I confirm it. If I am unavailable when it is claimed, I will be using the GR time stamp to confirm the winner especially if there are multiple claims. Please help each other out and double check your completions for all the required components and correct page count!
For cage if on the cover it has "shifter Romance" like
would it count for proof. The book just included as an example, I am aware it doesn't count due to page count is only 49 pages.

C is for Cadet - Read a book featuring an MC that is current or former military.
To qualify for this task, the book needs to have a character that is active or former military. This can be indicated in the precis, title, series, tags or lists. The following tags/lists are examples of what will be allowed: military, vet (not implying veterinarian), veteran, soldier, navy, army, air force, marines, SEAL, Army Ranger, fighter pilot. Combo tags will be allowed IN CONTEXT - so if your book is tagged 'cops_firemen_military', but the precis indicates the hero is a sheriff for example (or even if all the other tags just indicate law enforcement), the book will be disqualified. I strongly suggest you find other qualification if possible - I will be SUPER PICKY with the combo tags.
C is for Cage - Read a book featuring shifters.
To qualify, your book needs to include in the title, precis, list or tags 'shapeshifter', 'shifter', or 'were-something'.
C is for Celestial - Read a book with the night sky on the cover.

Sexyladi wrote: "Will Warrior or knight work for military?"To qualify, it would need to be someone in an established and regulated system. I would be looking for something to confirm that - the words alone would not work.
