I've got a question already! For #9 (Read a book where the title is in a script font on the cover. - Cannot be fonts that are italics. It must look like handwriting.), does the entire title need to be in cursive or will the majority of the title work. I was looking at The Bullet That Missed. "The Bullet That" is in script, but "Missed" is not.

Yes, that will be fine.
7. Four letters: School room furniture - [Desk (hide spoiler)]Read a book where there is a character that is a teacher
Would The Cinderella Deal be acceptable for this task? A history professor features in this book as per the GR synopsis.
Thanks.
Kristie, I told you True Biz would work for task 7 - teacher, it will also work for task 6 - set in Ohio.
Thanks, Janice. That's even better. I have a few books that would likely fit the teacher task. I also found another book for the script writing (#9) that I may go with instead: Good Girl, Bad Blood

I just bought that one because I enjoyed the first book. Looking through my TBR, I have quite a few script fonts which surprised me.
I have a few script fonts as well. I also enjoyed the first book and I've been meaning to read the second for a while now.
Would
be acceptable for the task:Read a book with someone wearing jeans on the cover?
BTW, many of the books in this series have the same woman (with the same dress) and dog but in different colors.
Thanks.
Task 9 query: Read a book where the title is in a script font on the cover. - Cannot be fonts that are italics. It must look like handwriting.Would this count for handwriting?

Sorry, letters are not joined as they would be in handwriting.

Aha, so more like this [bookcover:The Unpassing|55229797]
For #9 (Read a book where the title is in a script font on the cover. - Cannot be fonts that are italics. It must look like handwriting.), does this work, Janice
?

That's a much better example and it will fit the task. Weird that the like didn't work the first time you posted it.
Pragya wrote: "For #9 (Read a book where the title is in a script font on the cover. - Cannot be fonts that are italics. It must look like handwriting.), does this work, Janice? [bookcover:Everything is Illuminat..."No, sorry. It looks like printing and not handwriting. The letters are not joined like they would in script. See Sam's example of Unpassing for a good example of what I'm looking for.
Awesome, thanks Janice :-)I can only assume it was because it was a reply, that's the only bit that's different between the two. Odd though.
What about this one, Janice?
Read a book where the title is in a script font on the cover. - Cannot be fonts that are italics. It must look like handwriting.

It is a good choice. It also works for Enviroment task (Puzzle 3).

Oh yes. Thanks for pointing that out, Viji.

"Thanks, Janice. I will try to find something based on your suggestion. I think I could even use a cover with flowers in a garden where the flowers would definitely be with stems.
It's not that the flowers will have stems, but you must see the stems on the cover. Maybe it's a clear vase and you can see the stems through the glass.
Janice wrote: "It's not that the flowers will have stems, but you must see the stems on the cover. Maybe it's a clear vase and you can see the stems through the glass."I have
and the stems could be seen on the left side of the cover. Another book I have is
which has flowers with stems on the cover.I also have Annie's Rainbow but unfortunately the cover is not shown on GR Book Main Page. The amazon.com link for this book is
https://www.amazon.com/Annies-Rainbow...
I also have Where Azaleas Bloom and the cover shown in amazon.in under the link is
https://www.amazon.in/Where-Azaleas-B...
These two fit very well with the suggestion you gave me. But I could not find the covers in GR book main page.
BTW, could someone help me about adding covers to books. Are there any Goodreads Librarians here?
Sorry about the long post. I am trying to find books for the tasks a bit late! hahahaha!
Thanks.
Viji - Here are those two cover:

I think that is more what Janice was going for, if those are the covers you have.
